Privacy and confidentiality policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

At Mowak Games we take care of our customers' and users' information. This policy explains what data we collect through our website and our Mowak Games digital pinball machine, why we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have over it.

In short

  • The Mowak Games pinball machine sends technical diagnostic data so we can detect problems and give you better support. It does not include personal information.
  • It may also send usage statistics (how much and when it is played, which games) so we can understand how it is used and improve our products.
  • On the website we only ask for the data you give us in our forms, plus basic technical information about your visit.
  • We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected].

1. Data sent by the Mowak Games pinball machine

The Mowak Games pinball machine is a connected device. When it has internet access, it may send two kinds of information to our systems:

Diagnostic data

Technical information about how the machine is working: software version, device status, logged errors, operating hours and other similar data.

Why: to detect faults, anticipate problems and give you faster, more accurate technical support.

It does not include personal information.

Usage statistics

Information about how the pinball machine is used: how long it is played, how often and which games are chosen.

Why: to better understand usage behavior and improve our games, products and services.

It is tied to the machine, not to your name or contact details.

This data is linked to the machine's serial number. We only use it for the purposes described here and never to show you third-party advertising. If you would rather your pinball machine did not send usage statistics, write to us and we will help you turn them off; diagnostic data may still be needed to support you and keep the machine up to date.

2. Data we collect on the website

What you give us

  • Pinball waitlist: name, email address, country, state (United States only), type of interest, company (resellers only) and preferred language for communications.
  • Contact form: name, email address, the message you write and preferred reply language.

What is recorded when you visit

  • Technical visit data: IP address, approximate country based on that IP, device type, time zone, the site or campaign you came from and how many times you have visited. If you submit a form, this data is sent along with it to help us understand how you found us.
  • Preferences in your browser: we keep the language you chose and the context of your visit in your browser's local storage. That information stays on your device until you clear the site's data.
  • Google Analytics: we use this tool to measure, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and which sections they view. It uses Google's own cookies.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: protects our forms from spam and bots by analyzing technical browser signals.

3. How we use the information

  • To provide technical support and keep your pinball machine working properly.
  • To improve our games, products and services.
  • To answer your messages and questions.
  • To let you know about the pinball machine's launch and availability if you joined the waitlist.
  • To understand how people reach our site and improve its content.
  • To protect our systems against abuse, spam and fraud.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent or hand over your data to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

To operate, we rely on a few technology providers that process data on our behalf and only to provide their service to us:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): website hosting, form processing, receiving pinball machine data and sending emails.
  • Cloudflare: website delivery, security and bot protection.
  • Google: visit measurement with Google Analytics.
  • Stripe: payment processing for online purchases. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and we do not store them; Stripe handles them under its own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law or by a competent authority.

5. How we protect the information

We treat your data as confidential and take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it for their work, credentials kept in secret management services and protection of our forms against automated submissions.

No system is infallible, but we do everything we can to keep your information safe and we continuously review our practices.

6. How long we keep data

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described. Your waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Diagnostic data and usage statistics are kept while they are useful for support and product improvement, and when we use them for long-term analysis we do so in aggregate.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what data we hold about you and give you access to it.
  • Correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete it when it is no longer needed or you withdraw your consent.
  • Stop using it for a specific purpose.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a commonly used format.

The laws of your country may give you additional rights, and we will honor them as well. Exercising any of these rights is free and does not affect the service we provide to you.

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected]. To stop receiving waitlist emails, use the unsubscribe link included in every email.

You can also block or delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings.

8. Where data is stored

Our providers may store and process data in countries other than yours, mainly in the United States. We only work with providers that meet internationally recognized security standards, and your data receives the same protection there as described in this policy.

9. Children

The pinball machine can be enjoyed by the whole family, but our forms are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has given us their data, write to us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our products or the law change. We will always publish the current version on this page with its update date and, if the change is significant, we will let you know through our usual channels.

11. Who we are and contact

Mowak Games operates this website and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. In this policy, “Mowak Games”, “we” and “us” refer to Mowak Games.

If you have questions about this policy or about how we handle your data, write to [email protected] or use our contact form.
